HEADLINE:

Jimmy Chua believes that “in the midst of chasing our dreams, we might often neglect what matters most to us (which may include our family and loved ones). Thus, it is very important to take a break, and rediscover what our dreams are when we are young. If we are unhappy, it is time to change, let go of what we are holding on, and follow our hearts to rediscover what truly makes us happy.”

Jimmy Chua (30 years old) is from a humble family, and surprisingly his parents did not give him any pressure to do well in school. He has been a happy child since young. Jimmy observes that his friends around him are not very happy. As a way to keep himself happy, Jimmy would record all the little things he is grateful for and even share online with everyone. Soon enough, his happiness also inspire some of his friends to rediscover the little things that make them happy.

Jimmy shared about “many things that we can be happy and grateful for, however we spend little attention to notice and talk about these blessings we have”.

Writing a book has always been Jimmy’s DREAM since his childhood days. He would use his free time to reflect about his own happy stories, type into the computer, and came out with this book “HAPPY GO LUCKY” hoping to inspire many to be HAPPY.

Jimmy Chua explains during the interview that in the midst of chasing our dreams (which includes having more than others around; such as a better car, career, nice sounding job title, bigger house, higher education qualifications and more), we might often neglect what matters most to us (such as our family and loved ones). Thus, it is very important to take a break, and rediscover what our dreams are when we are young. If we are unhappy, it is a time to change, let go of what we are holding on, and follow our hearts to rediscover what truly makes us happy.

Jimmy loves sharing his joy and happiness with others around. In a recent cruise trip from SINGAPORE to SYDNEY, there is a waiter who has worked in his job for 7 years and his SMILE and SERVICE has been 5 stars – exceptionally endearing to Jimmy and the passengers around. Jimmy wrote a letter of commendation using the Cruise’s feedback form and solicited the letters of commendation from other passengers at the restaurant. Within a day, he was promoted.
